1. Download the Seritag Encoder App
Seritag have created a simple mobile app for both Android and iPhone to encode web links onto NFC tags.
You can download the Seritag NFC Encoder App here
1. Generate your vCard Link
Create your vCard Link.
3. Write to your NFC Tag
Open the Seritag Encoder app, select URL and 'https://' and then copy and paste the vCard Link into the data section.
Tap encode, hold the phone over your NFC tag and you're done.
4. Test your vCard
Close the app, hold your phone (top edge on iPhone, center back on Android) over the NFC tag and you should be able to immediately download your vCard.
Encoding Multiple Tags
You can encode your vCard Link onto as many tags as you like.
Which NFC chip ?
If you have a small vCard, such as a name, company, email and phone number - you should be able to use an NFC tag with an NTAG213 chip.
If you have more data, then you might need to go up to the NTAG215 chip, which has more memory. For most users, the NTAG215 will provide enough memory.
If you are storing a lot of data, then you can use the NTAG216 chip. However, we recommend trimming your data rather than using this particular chip.
If you have another type of chip such as the iCODE SLIX, NTAG424 or an ST chip, then try and encode. If there's not enough memory, try cutting some of the information to create a new vCard Link and trying again.
